Lightweight and feminine, the Betsy Peplum Top in blue and white stripes pairs embroidered detailing with a comfortable, structured shape. Designed for warm-weather days, it balances a fitted, lined bodice with a playful peplum hem for an easy, flattering silhouette. Fabric & construction: Self: 70% cotton, 30% polyester; lining: 100% cotton — breathable, soft, and lightweight. Embroidered stripe detail: Intricate embroidery runs through the white stripes for subtle texture and handcrafted character. Neckline & bust: Wide neckline with center gathered bust creates a flattering, open shape that complements layered or bare-shoulder looks. Stretch & fit: Smocked back bodice provides stretch and adaptable fit while the main fabric has no mechanical stretch. Sleeves: Short oversized elastic sleeves with decorative tie detail; sleeves are unlined for a lighter drape. Silhouette & lining: Upturned waist and peplum hem create a waist-defining shape; lined through the body for coverage (lining excludes sleeves). Wear this top with high-rise jeans, a linen skirt, or tailored shorts for a casual spring-to-summer look. The smocked back helps accommodate different bust shapes; if you prefer more ease, choose the next size up. For longevity, follow gentle care (see FAQs) to preserve the embroidery and fabric hand.
